Above record as well as Record of "ondertrouw" with Susanna Jans indicates that he is from "Breemen" Germany),  and list his ocupation as "varentman" (seaman). Religion is listed as "jude" - or jewish.
At the time of his `ondertrouw", living at the Binnen Visserstraat, Amsterdam.

The subsequent  record of "ondertrouw" indicating a second marriage with Jannetje Jansz also states that he is "van Breemen". At that time he lived at "het Franse Pad" in Amsterdam. Buried at Karthuizer kerkhof.  At time of his death lived at the Lindengracht.
